In this series, we look deeper… at the drivers of business growth and enterprise value.

Revenue is created by a simple equation:

Revenue =
Leads × Customers × Average Sale × Repeat Purchase

But that is only the first layer… the real game is enterprise value.

Enterprise Value =
Revenue × Margin × Growth Rate × Market Multiple

Two businesses can generate the same revenue and profit… yet be worth dramatically different amounts:
